2008 AF3 was about 430,000 miles from earth when I made this image. It is thought to be about 19 meters in diameter. The image covers 11 minutes of time tracking on the asteroid taken at 1.5" per pixel. It was taken on January 15, 2008 at about 4 hours UT. Imaging such a small rock at such a great distance would seem to indicate it is more reflective than a typical asteroid. 14" LX200R @ f/10, L=10x1'x3, STL-11000XM, Paramount ME
